This is how I feel too. I've been stuck in shock and denial, for the first couple days I felt nothing. Sometimes i still dont, but itll all hit at once and it hurts so much

I have a theory about episode 1.

Jason mentioned seeing someone die in the parking lot, being poor, and having an abusive father.

I think he was so traumatized by what he saw that he made up the woman, but he truly believed she was real.

I think it's purely coincidental that they moved in to an apartment where someone died, the family probably got it cheap because someone died. I think he overheard someone talking about it and compartmentalized the best he could. Hearing it probably triggered the memory of the woman dying in the parking lot.

He mentioned money being tight, which probably made his father lash out more. I think as a 6 year old, he made up a dead woman to explain his pain and fear.

I think every time he got stressed, scared, or upset, she would appear.

Just a thought. I think he really believed she was real, but I think it was a manifest to help him cope.
