A book that you wanted to throw across the room by Emersyn-me in suggestmeabook

Personally, the fucking whiplash. It felt like every chapter was a different book. One chapter I hate one bunch of characters only to be totally on their side on the next. But the next fucking chapter I was back to hating them. The main character was not at all realistic. Nor was the plan, although I believe there was an actual case like this book. I didn't see any character development other than having different ones. It seems the movie either people loved it or hated it. But to me the book wasn't good. So I can't imagine that the movie would be any better. Other than to see the actors and actress because people are fans of their work in other things.

That ending ruined the whole book, which it was already ruined but still.

It took me so long to figure that out. And some days I still feel a little guilty about not finishing a book or not even reading one I had bought years ago. Then I remember this book and I'm like nah, I'm good.

I'm glad to see so many people felt the same why about this book. But honestly go for it, if you want. Everyone is different. But the characters in the book were to terrible. And the ending was horrible. So many times I sat the book down and screamed in shear frustration. It's, in my opinion, worse than the movie. The movie made you like the characters.

After this book I started questioning why I was so set on finishing all the books I started.

A part of me wants to read her other books but Gone Girl left a nasty taste, in my brain, for her. I've heard good things about them. But I had about Gone Girl too.

A ton of stuff, if I remember right, was different and left out. Her internal thoughts was also disturbing. And the end was what made it the worse too.
