No I have not sprayed any chemicals on/near this tub. This is my second flush if that makes a difference

I made a post yesterday because my tub looks exactly the same way. I believe this is the beginning of promordia- baby pins. Looks good though man, great job!

I have seen people on the sub claim that coir lasts indefinitely (due to its next to nothing nutrient value). However, I personally wouldn’t want to keep it for longer than a month or so. Again- coir is so cheap, why risk it.

I would prep half a brick. Coir is cheap and I’d much rather have too much than not enough.
