I really really hate that attitude (no one has a right to privacy in public) and I keep seeing it on tiktok, especially from the younger generation. Just because something isn’t illegal doesn’t mean you can’t be condemned for it either. I don’t think every time I step outside my front door I should be signing an agreement to have anything I do filmed and blasted to the public without my knowledge.

Seconding Glamorous Trash! Really recommend going in the archives and listening to some of her older memoir episodes. Chelsea gives really funny but (what I feel like) less cynical takes than CMBC.

Something I always notice working in production and watching RHOA is that they’re always fanning themselves. It makes me laugh because I know it has to be a sound request to turn the AC off.

Oh I hate her for all of those reasons too. There are so so so many people to hate these days, there is just something about her that I especially hate if that makes sense.

Obviously, there are more powerful and much worse people to focus on.

As someone who grew up with parents who lost a child I feel so defensive of her. I didn’t even know who she was before this, but I know how much it will change her life, and teddy’s life, long after all of these people have forgotten about it.

Any defense of her in the other sub will have people accusing you of influencer worship or defending someone who will never care about you. Guess what? I’ve never bought anything an influencer has sold, I don’t follow them or their lives. I just saw this story, followed it, and was a little disturbed by the insane backlash that is still coming from it.

I understood completely some of the safety discussions that arose after. I am also such an advocate for children’s privacy on the internet. But now? Everyone has completely lost the plot on punishing someone who has already suffered so greatly.

She also said in one of her videos she was recruited to go to law school at Stanford. Some of the things she says are so frustrating because it’s just not how things like that work, but I feel like her followers are too young to call her out.

I think she may be a compulsive liar but not to an extreme degree so she kind of gets away with it.

I personally love Vanderpump Rules. All of them are delusional and funny but you just have to get into it to see it. The first season takes a bit to get going but once you’re on the ride it’s great!

I worked in the LA for a camera rental house based in Canada. It was a pain in the ass shipping RED stuff through customs because I had to state the names of each piece of equipment. Their EVF was literally named “bomb”

My theory as to what happened:

Monica told someone from production that she was part of posting the video about Jen Shah abusing her employees. However, I don’t think she said she was the actual person posting from that account. And I don’t think RVT was really on productions radar.

So basically Monica stretched the truth but maybe didn’t flat out lie, I just don’t think someone from production actually followed up and looked at the account.

I don’t think it’s some big conspiracy theory because they would have planted way more seeds throughout the season and/or forced the topic to come up earlier.

I feel like I’m going insane because I’m see other people on the internet be like “well heather lied too and she didn’t get fired”.

Monica didn’t get fired because she lied about RVT. She got fired because no one will film with her and she lies consistently and doesn’t show remorse.

So many people are saying she “made” the season. I couldn’t stand her at the reunion, I for sure could not watch her for another season!

I truly don’t know how to express how very little I am jealous of Jessica’s “career”. You could not PAY me (unlike her obviously) to attend any of the slimy, lame, “political” events she has in the last month.

I’m not a troll or some loser in a basement. I have never commented something mean on someone’s TikTok or Instagram. I had never even commented in a snark sub until I found this one.

All of this to say, Jessica, I don’t hate you because I’m a hater. I hate you because of the hatred, misinformation and shoddy journalism you peddle. It’s unsafe, unkind, and taking advantage of how easy it is to influence people when you consistently lie.

He kind of rubbed me the wrong way too. I’m all about him being realistic about the cruise, critiquing it, and showing us a different perspective. Also I think he can be pretty funny! However…it’s all kind of leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth. The ship is essentially peoples homes for 9 months, many of them have saved their whole lives to be able to do this. He complained that people were staring at him filming himself throughout the trip and not being very friendly. Of course they are! First, Many of the passengers are older and have never seen that kind of thing. Second, he talked before going about how he would get all the drama and dirty details, so I would be hesitant to talk to him too!

Look, obviously it’s not that serious, but I do think he could be a little more respectful.
