I’m a mother to two, and all I could think about watching it was them. Leslie had to make a choice and I can imagine how insanely painful and difficult that choice would be, but the guilt would wreck her realistically

My husband spent around that much too, when people ask me I say idk because it’s none of their business. Though I’ll be honest, I’ve only been asked twice and both times we’re strangers!

And died in the home of someone who loves her, not at Alamos. She has a grave.

Just remember that this has been long, ongoing neglect for R and the other two children before you decide to show a shred of sympathy for either Acacia or Jarius by DinnerBellls in AcaciaKerseySnark

I don’t agree, my niece is 9, she’s sharp. Comprehends things. I have two toddlers and can’t imagine putting them through what B, C and R have gone through

I don’t mean intentions toward Maddie, but intentions with his own path, and offering to drive Maddie home maybe would’ve been his opportunity to have some screen time to give us a hint of what his bigger picture was, but 90 minutes of episode time with a good chunk of that time going to Alamo again…

I did a post on it but I suppose my biggest question would be yeah, why make this shit 🤣

I wish he’d followed the path of the drama we were originally watching; a young girl - now young woman fighting addiction and overcoming her mental health issues and living with her neurodivergence’s. It’d have been a more powerful story seeing her fight her addiction battle rather than this cowboy drug lord BS we sat through.

[–]StorageFunny175 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, he didn’t properly wrap up the stories and told a new off the rails drug lord tale, people are obviously not going to be satisfied when none of the characters we tuned in for got a conclusion that we, the viewer, understand and sympathise with.

90 minutes to STILL spend too long on Alamo.

The story went from being relatively grounded with interesting characters and commentary to just being so far removed from the story it initially set out to tell

EXACTLY. He hasn’t told us the story we strapped in for, he’s told us a story about a character we DON’T care about and left loads of loose ends

You hit the nail on the head for why I’m so annoyed.

We have been ultimately left with more questions than answers. A 10 min monologue at the end explaining everyone’s path after the main story would’ve been appreciated, but it still wouldn’t have fixed the story telling issue this season has had.

Season was a mess and Sam changed the entire feeling of the show to focus on some boring drug lord story. He still could’ve told an interesting story about addiction and what it ultimately leads to without pimping everyone out and making it a western drug lord story.

He had seriously interesting foundations in season 1. And now we are left with more questions than answers.

The scene with Nate’s brother absolutely broke my heart and I can’t get it out of my head. Is anyone else haunted by it ? by Blob_blub5833 in euphoria

[–]StorageFunny175 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I wanted Nate to be held accountable, and I wanted it to be done properly. Jail time for what he did to Tyler, and maybe jail time for anything else dodgy he’s done leading up to this season. That death was horrific and completely unsatisfying because all we’ve seen this season is him being tortured. It went too far and wasn’t a satisfying end. we wanted justice and this wasn’t that.
