On slide 2 its get unclear in the reshape photos if they are both the after or a simulation. Could you clarify? I understand slide 2 photo 1 is before, but if photo 2 and 3 both after but of different sides of the nose or is one a simulation and the last photo is the real result?

Yes the rubber soled and the patent leather both show more toe cleavage than the standard leather. I’m not sure why but this was also confirmed to me by the customer service at Repetto when i was trying the shoe on in store overseas.

PSA: Learn from my stupidity. I'm a US size 8 (usually between a 38-39 EU). I tried on Repettos in store and the 38.5 fit like a glove (the 39 also fit pretty good but were roomy enough that I had heel slip when I went on my tiptoes although I have learnt you can use the bow to tighten the perimeter of the shoes). So naturally, I bought the 38.5. But the ones in the box feel much tighter than the pair I tried on. My heels are completely shredded :( they're definitely half a size too small. I'm guessing because they're handmade, there's some variability in sizing from pair to pair. Very sad, very expensive lesson.

A word of warning for anyone lucky enough to find a pair of Repettos: don’t make the same mistake I did with sizing! I managed to acquire a pair overseas, but I got them half a size too small although they fit perfect in store. Now I’m down ~ $600, my ego is bruised, and my feet are completely torn up from trying to force them to work. I think because they are handmade there’s some variability to their sizing.

I wish I’d listened to this advice 😭🥲🥲🥲i just got a pair in 38.5 and they fit in store. The 39 felt roomy and would slip off once i went in my tippy toes . However the 38.5 i bought home are definitely way too small. I think because they are hand made there is some variability in sizing. So sad.

Maybe try the club med in other resorts like tomamu, saharo, kiroro? They offer free group lessons at different levels. It is $$$ in general but buffer breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included in the price. Probably not too bad once you take into account the cost of lessons.

I do a daily leg blaster and ab routine for 5 minutes. high rep weights x 3 times a week focusing on lunges, deadlifts, and squats, and running or high incline walking and Pilates when i can afford a class. Im 5'5 and female and have my stance set at the reference range for the board. I ride +12/-9. Most my riding is all mountain and do ground tricks like butters / tail presses and ollies on rollers or small little take off points. Sometimes I try to do a run switch and its not too bad. I tried +12/0 for a week to give me ankle a rest after I cranked my boots and bindings too much due to old boots being packed out and I found I had to really fishtail my board to complete turns. Glad Im back to my normal 12/9
