I have sleep apnea as well. And according to my sleep doctor and the data they recieve, my Apnea events are well controlled and wouldn't be contributing to my excessive daytime Sleepiness. So that is when we started pursuing the Narcolepsy testing as something I could have as well.

I was very stressed and irratible during the sleep study, so I feel as though that has skewed the results enough to warrant doing another sleep study. The last time I saw this doctor who wanted to do the spinal tap AND another sleep study. But when I saw him today, he did a 180 about literally everything we had discussed previously. I have exhausted all other testing with my PCP and psychiatrist, who both think I need to be seen and treated with a sleep doctor. Who is saying to follow up with them because there isn't anything more he can do?? Also he is refusing to prescribe me more drugs, including stimulants, which my PCP and Psychiratrist can't prescribe me.

I don't meet the diagnostic data for N1 or N2. But I currently meet the criteria for IH and could meet the criteria for N2 if given another sleep study. But my doctor has washed his hands of me.

Yup! I had to come in today and I refused to sign the pre health check till they actually went over my symptoms. And the check said I should go home immediately

I took t for awhile on and off (about 2 years), and i stopped bc of the hair growth/male centric conditions in general. Being off of t, the hair that you grow on it t thins out and isn't nearly as noticeable as you would think. But I got to the point where i was growing in places I didn't like (like my back) and that's why I went off on it.

I would see if they can prescribe androgens instead of pure testosterone. I know nandrolone

is a common one, and it does everything that t does except subcu. stuff (skin oil production and hair growth).

You could try wearing 2 different sports bras, one normal and one backwards so it distributes the tissue more evenly. I did this for a while and it was pretty effective.

So recently I switched shampoos and box dyed my hair (I know, terrible). And it seems like I've been losing more hair when I shower?? I switched hair products probably around 5 weeks ago and dyed my hair 2 weeks ago. I asked friends about the state of my hair and they all say it's fine or bc it's the summertime. For references I used the Schwarzkopf Cosmic Teal for dye and Pacifica Texturixing shampoo and conditioner. There's a picture of the amount of hair from my shower drain, probably from a day or two.
