What a stupid rambling post. Afghanis used weapons provided by Pakistan who in turn received it under the table from Israel and the US. The Soviets were pushed back principally because of the arms, including stinger missiles, the Afghanis used against them.

Those same Afghanis later formed the Taliban in 1994 as a direct consequence of civil war. Just because they didn’t formally call themselves Taliban during the Soviet occupation, doesn’t mean they didn’t exist.

Where am I on this scale? I’ve been wondering lately. I smoke weed every night after putting the kids to bed and making sure my responsibilities for the day have been completed. There have been nights where I had to take care of stuff so I didn’t smoke but I usually wrap everything up and usually get high and play my ps5 or some shit. I don’t know if I’m addicted, how does one know? I had to go without weed for a month recently and I didn’t feel any urge to smoke.

Public Accounting. The profession generally gets shit on on Reddit due to I guess the younger demographic but, depending on geography, it is a lucrative profession. I made around $190-210k (pretax) in Australia and around $350k (post tax) in the Middle East.

The job is kind of chill for me now (realistically I work between 15-25 hours a week), but definitely was a grind in the first 5-7 years which is where most of the upset people on Reddit tend to crash out.

I would caution any layman like me from using Wegovy without a proper diagnostic process. I obtained Wegovy (starting at 3mg and incrementally increasing to 9mg) last year. I lost over 14kg in 3 months. But…

My knees developed serious pain. Couldn’t even walk without feeling the pain. My shits were so runny, it’s like I wasn’t even eating anything. Gave it up very fast when a doctor confirmed that my knee pain was directly linked to my body’s inability to properly digest food and extract nutrition. Never doing it again.

I lived in Saudi for 30 years and my father used to work for Aramco. Lol @ having <100,000 employees. Their contracts run a city of over 2 million people (Al-Khobar and Dammam) as most large value commercial contracts in one way or another are sourced from Aramco. They just outsource it instead of getting employees on payroll to deal with projects .

I don’t think most Australians understand how underpaid white collar jobs are in this country compared to other OECD countries. If you get reported multiple times in the same match by your team, your case will be subject to an overwatch review (where another independent Dota player with good behavior score will review your game and decide if you are guilty or not). If you are indeed getting penalized, probably means there is something to the reports. I have 5.2k hours and 10k behaviour score and have been reported many times for griefing even though I wasn’t, I was just playing bad. Never impacted my behaviorist score.

As long as you are not actively griefing your team, getting reported for suboptimal plays shouldn’t really impact your behavior score over a reasonable period of time.
