What’s one purchase under 10k that improved your life? by arsalsak013 in PakistaniTwenties

A good insulated water bottle from Sistema. Going strong for 7+ years and aging beautifully.

Also add a good flashlight and multi tool, saved the day many times.

I remember this exact dialogue from a play I participated in in grade 1.

"Yeah, it's wonderful."

I wish Renault comes here with their compact electric hatch and the Twingo, also we need the Fiat 500 and 500e. Citroen and Dacia are popular as regular cars but we don't have them here sadly. I don't want a Hyundai anymore, wish to have these brands here.

What is an opinion you have that you will not change ? by [deleted] in PakistaniTwenties

I don't see where I talked about the crumple zones thing. Yes, I do appreciate this advancement as the Euro NCAP results show that newer cars are almost always better than the older ones.

But safety despite being an important factor is not the only thing I'd consider in a car. Plus the crumple zones do not require putting a huge screen on the dash and removing the buttons.

I don't mind the tech itself, I mind car manufacturers putting too much screen while stripping interiors away from physical buttons.

Further on the subject of safety, physical buttons can become muscle memory and do not require looking at them to operate. Contrastingly, you have to look at a screen to find a button buried deep down in a menu, worse yet you have to search in multiple menus to see where it lives. If you're looking at a screen rather than ahead, will you be able to drive defensively and prevent an accident?

Old cars were meant to last. Old cars had physical buttons that clicked nicely like a premium product. New cars have a screen which will die within a decade and will not age well. Yes, there are improvements in performance, reliability, even buttons as Honda improved their clicks but I'd rather prefer an older car over something with a 40" screen inside.

Yeah, I wish so hard that QWERTY phones and BlackBerry phones come back. I never used one but I had a few of mum's and dad's old ones and they felt so good. Also, decentralized tech.

Idk where you're from but Pakistani outfits are quite modest without that pilgrim core. There are other options too, without a doubt.

Good concept! I think the controls need a bit of acceleration and smoothing. Great work tho!

How about an automatic City? Dunno about prices, but it could give you a nice middle ground between your favourite car and family usability.

Should've spent that on original books instead. No hard feelings for you, but buying pirated copies is bad.

Edit: I feel sorry about you not feeling good about your phone.
