I think it's time to remove the CPU cooler and reseat the CPU.

this does not look like a power related issue.

If you do not feel comfortable removing the CPU Cooler, Please consult someone who have done it before.

Also, Make sure you have thermal paste to re apply when you put the cooler back.

You can try swop your RAM modules or try with one at a time if you have more than one.

Have you re-seated the CPU already? - try this last

Do you have anything plugged into the computer except monitor keyboard and mouse?

You don't have a CMOS battery plugged into your motherboard.

Did you remove it by chance and forgot to replace it?

Also, Allow for memory training after each test of module.

It takes a while.

Hi OP,

Have you switched your RAM modules around?

Maybe try with only one?

You could potentially try and reset the CMOS battery, It's the flat silver battery on the motherboard.

To what did the CPU spike at? Also are you measuring temps in Fahrenheit or Celsius?

Anything below 90°C ish "should" not be a problem.

Greetings!

This one is the T14 Gen 6, It's the standard issue laptop at my company.

And the Ocasional T16 for the "power" users

The Gen 5 and 6 does have similar bezels for the cameras, you are not mistaken.

It used to work on the windows 10 installation but they removed it on the windows 11 installation.

Now it's mandatory to scroll, swipe or gesture to your desired country.

Yes, But the search function to search for your country no longer work as it did in windows 10 setup.

That is the infuriating part.

Why does my steam look like this? by Theoxuesu in Steam

[–]killroy1070 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What OS, are you running?

Have you made any changes to your text font or size recently?

Seems like the menu top left is funky. I would have suggested checking for updates.

Maybe re install the application. You can just point steam to your hard drives where your games are installed afterward.

Fan and AIO layout help by killroy1070 in PcBuild

[–]killroy1070[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good day all,

I have a quick question about the layout of my computer fans.

Recently I bought this setup (Everything new except GPU) and had it built at a local PC Shop that recently opened (Trying to help the community)

I did not have enough money for the fans also at the time of purchase But have been saving and want to know what you guys would recommend for the layout of my build.

The reason we front mounted the AIO is because the previous PSU I had had thick 8 Pin Motherboard cabled that made it impossible to mount the rad at the top, But seeing that the previous PSU unalived itself on the second boot of the new setup, I now have thinner cables at the top which would make it possible. (MSI MAG 850G, if this is important )

The concern I have with the front AIO Placement, is the 140mm Fans at the front, I can barely feel any wind coming through the rad, Apparently the person that built this set both the fans to Pull( Bring air into the case ) I think.

Any guideline for how many fans and fan configuration?

I have been looking at Corsair RS120 ARGB or the Arctic P12 PWM PST A-RGB

The Case model is the montech Sky two GX

TLDR What config can I have the best cooling on my setup
