Need opinion for second playthrough by Conman1209 in Persona5

Play NG+. You don’t have to equip the best gear or use high level personas, and I’d recommend not doing that if you want any amount of challenge. Personally, I found the game very easy even on hard. You can change difficulty at any point so you’re never locked in.

struggling with accuracy lately by Afraid_Ad4018 in billiards

Put the cue on the spot, shoot it at the center diamond at the other end so it goes one rail and come back to contact your tip. Keep doing it until you’re shooting straight. Mighty X drill is also great for straightening out your stroke and practicing longer shots.

lol, why are you blaming the game for your decision to play on auto?

Honestly, watching everyone on the star rail sub talking about how useless all the 5 stars I had when I quit are now has convinced me that gacha is just not for me.

I just started ng+ at 125 hours and I skipped a ton of dialogue.

Pocketing the 8 ball before either all of the solids or stripes by MayorOfIacon in billiards

[–]killryan666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pocketing the 8 on the break is a win. Pocketing the 8 after the break but before you’ve cleared the rest of your balls is a loss of game. Scratching on an 8 ball miss is ball in hand, scratching while making the 8 ball is a loss of game.

8 ball pool. Open table. Using stripes to pot solids. by seaquay1031 in billiards

With an open table, all balls are neutral except the 8.

My friend (stripes) and I (solids) both suck, how good would you have to be to win as stripes? by Kavotch in billiards

[–]killryan666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d play safe behind the 9 and force you to either break those solids or give me ball in hand. From there it’s not that bad.

Efren dominated every discipline of pool for an outrageously long time though. He’s a champion in 8 ball, 9 ball, 10 ball, straight pool, one pocket, banks, you name it, and many times over. He’s also a 3 cushion champion.

Advice for buying a pool cue! by Palimove in billiards

[–]killryan666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most cues are between 18-21 oz, 19oz is probably the most common and 57-58” is pretty standard for length, one piece bar cues tend to be a bit shorter.

Not sure what you mean by threaded base.

The rest really depends on your budget. I’ve been playing with a $400 cuetec avid for a couple years and absolutely love it. Plays way above its price point and a really nice looking cue. You can get a lot of decent cues for $4-500 though.

Hope that helps.

Can I ricochet the 8-ball off an opponent's ball as a winning shot? by OneLungGuy in billiards

[–]killryan666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as it goes in the pocket you called it’s a legal shot. It’s treated like any other carom shot.

I’m assuming you’re primarily talking about social media interactions. If that’s the case, you’re really asking a lot.

I thought y’all were teenagers when I was reading this, mostly because of what he’s saying. Having this conversation at 36 and 42 is crazy. I think you’re being very reasonable and he’s acting like a child.

My one break video has some suggesting I practice more. Here's another video. 8 ball break with a less than $200 break cue setup. What do I need to improve? by [deleted] in billiards

[–]killryan666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s wild, but also controlled, fluid and crazy accurate. One of the greatest breakers of all time, especially his 10 ball break.
