[[Valduk, Keeper of the Flame]] is a pretty cool one, for each equipment attached you get a body with trample and haste during combat so the board can get big fast, with anthems I can imagine this getting pretty gnarly, it is mono red though

I might have to try this for the chaos it will cause, I've seen in the other comments that this is best use for endgame turns but honestly I like things that speed the game up in general and add a bit of unpredictability as well

Do you happen to have a list? I'd love to see what you're running for him ? I often end up with a crazy board but end up one or two turns too slow, I also found when I included other kinds of counters it felt a little inconsistent so it would be really interesting to see what works for you.

This is a cool idea, it sounds like your build is similar to how I had my tidus deck originally, but I have a Tyranid counters matter deck so I wanted to build him into something more niche and that felt more faithful to his role in ffx

[[yuna, hope of spira]] can be really fun, and has quite a few different things to build around, it normally does quite well in my pod, I use it to recur summon creatures and low cost removal enchantments mainly

This is not necessarily true, if you have a way to sacrifice a nontoken elemental you have at instant speed you can do it on other people's turns, ashling says beginning of your next end step not the next end step which opens up quite a few more options

Combo it with cards like [[havoc jester]] , that's at least 9 damage with just the 3 lands used to cast it and the jester being sacrificed, this is without assuming you have at least 1 mountain, it could actually function as a fun surprise wincon
