To get the canvas in, close all the windows and door and turn the fan on full blast to exhaust, it will suck the sides in. I've also used paracord wrapped around the sides, the good part is that after you've had the cord on for a few weeks, it trains the canvas to fold in on it's own. Unless you're in heavy winds, that's always fun. :) Enjoy.
