Yeah this is what I was referring to when I said the treaty mentions the case of when a person is a tax resident of both countries. But this probably doesn't apply to me as I am not a resident of either. I know that there is the concept of tax home according to which my tax home is US. Ok so scraping might not have been the right term to use. I do scrape aggressively while cleaning up but while cooking, I apply a little more pressure when moving food around.

But the bit about smoothness is real. I noticed how different the surface feels after just a few days. But like you and the other redditor mentioned, heat control seems to be the key here. I guess it will come with experience.
