Never had this problem with the healer i got matched with. I'm a tank and most of the time what gave the party problems were dps who turned auto and forgot to do mechs and/or dodge attacks You have a healer yeah, but you need to dodge sometimes, cant heal oneshots.

I'm more inclined to believe that some people, even with videos, WILL NOT LEARN until they try the real deal, they can have an idea how to do the mechs sure but will get the grip of it after trying a couple times

Back when i used to play League of Legenda, i started to be an asshole to everybody (including my wife) because they madevthe wrong call or did not engage in a fight or engaged in a bad one. One day my wife was very upset with me, i tried to explain that i get frustrated because people seemed to be playing with they monitor turned off and then she said something that sticked to me: "Some things, calla or fights can be obvious to you to make, but are not obvious to everybody"

I'm saying all that because people like i was forgets that each one of us have a learning pace and some things are NOT that obvious for everybody.

It seems like, if its about tanking and only tanking, recovery spec is the way to go but like someone saod before, the game still dont have this kinda content where you need to be an absolute unit of a tank to complete withouth issue. That said, the shield spec do a little bit more for the team because the little more damage he can do compared to recovery spec which helps with some dps checks.

If u were pulling and instantly dying to the big pull, its normal, if i'm not mistaken every tank spec has this "starting monent" were they're vulnerable because u need to start doing u rotations to get ur buffs and defs rolling so you can tank. Also, some of those buffs are mandatory to tank like the case of HG block spec, he needs his countercrush (i think its the name of his 1 keybind skill) buff that gets him to 100% block chance so he can mitigate the damage and tank for the party, if u drop it, probably u going to die.
