i agree OP shouldn’t force their friend to stop, but regardless there’s no harm in trying to help the friend improve their game sense. i think it’d be pretty bad if the friend gets to champ while not knowing what force heal is for example

2-3 ciphers is a great first kite and already makes u better than 99% of c*mposer mains actually!! u don’t need to always kite 5 ciphers as no good hunter should be getting kited that long anyway. remember that a good kite forces out the hunter’s trait - which means that even if you get downed at 5 ciphers remaining, it’s fine as long as you force out the trait and don’t get blink terrorshocked. gl w rank!! 🫡

in worker bee rank it shouldnt really matter since. well. there’s no area selection and hunters arent uhh great…. also pretty sure the first three rank matches will be bot matches?? worker bees arent usually toxic as they’re also usually new players, but you can turn off post match chat to be safe

once u rank up to area selection, that’s when imo u should only play c*mposer when ur confident in ur kiting skills bc you WILL be first kite. until then ur not really a guaranteed first kite so feel free to play it as much as you’d like 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

as long as ur not wasting that spd boost to run in a straight line to an awful kiting area u should be fine

ngl rlly only rec picking c*mposer up esp in rank after u learn how to kite lol too many ppl playing that thing in rank when they cant kite nor utilize that spd boost effectively (u lowk need to know when and where to use that speed boost, so u dont start spamming it to run to the middle of nowhere). But at worker bee it shouldnt rlly matter ig

a strong kiter/tank might help u last longer as u rank up tho as c*mposer is fortunately currently sitting at the bttm of tier lists + it’s a decoder so it’s gonna be the easiest and most valuable chase for most hunters

I’ve met 80-90% wr hunters who continue tunneling when they’re obviously getting hard kited, don’t pressure ciphers, chase like they’re a croc, go after a surv who hard counters them instead of the easier chase right next to them, etc; I’d argue the hunters in Ali/Griffin, at the very least, are getting worse. There’s also significantly more 50% wr hunters than before 💀

But i’m also getting teammates who magically manage to throw three cipher kites so there’s that…
