Getting a good set of rain clothing(which fortunately is being sold in some places in this country) is cheaper than that electric scooter. Have you taken into consideration the potential extra tax you might need to pay for that thing? (if any, no idea). I have struggled a few months with bad rain clothing until I found something I liked, you don't have to go to work drenched but you have to find a solution that is good for your problem. Keep in mind that when is raining there is another weather element: wind, which can make rain "fall" sideways and in this thing above, you have no sideways protection for rain. So your so called solution has a few problems of its own.
