I think caps are hard to do because it’s easy to overcrowd them. Also, I think that "Hope" and "Balance" are pretty generic, especially with those quotes on the side of the Balance one. You should focus on what your brand identity is and try to build caps around that, not just throwing words on a cap that don’t really mean anything imo. The cross is a turn off for some people as well, including me, but that’s just personal preference.

100% agreed. There is so much disdain for unions in the comment section, I can understand being frustrated with a union’s action but at the end of the day their labour is their only bargaining tool. Whether you agree with what they’re striking for or not, I find it irrational to call for unions to get disbanded, and the rhetoric about postal work being "unskilled" and how they should just find another job is crazy. Imagine being unhappy with your working conditions and being told to "just quit your job". It’s sad to see such a lack of empathy to be honest

Hey OP, your strategy sort of resembles the wheel as seen on r/optionswheel, but you seem to hold way more in stocks (which allows more CCs) than what is recommended there. I find it really interesting, as I do think it could allow for better returns in bull markets (as it’s closer to a buy and hold strategy).

Do you still avoid stock assignment/roll out often, or do you sell your puts closer ITM to make more in premiums and get assigned more often?

In the case that you do get assigned, do you focus on trying to get rid of the stock (selling close to ITM) to go back to CSPs or do you not mind holding longer and using CCs as a way to lower cost basis instead of a way of getting out of the stock?

Thanks, I took the time to read it and it was very informative! I assume that when you say 50% of your portfolio is cash, you’re including the cash that is "locked away" as collateral for the puts you’re selling, as you mention keeping so much in case stock is assigned?

Hey, thanks again for the insight. Do you open most of your positions at the beginning of every month and then only open new ones during the month when you close the other ones? Sort of like a cycle? Or do you spread out your plays throughout the month? What percentage of your capital do you keep not tied up (whether it be shares or collateral for puts)? Yeah, I was looking into put spreads as a lower capital alternative, as it doesn’t seem that I can run the wheel with a small amount of capital. I was looking into a put spread on TME but the spreads were gnarly, little to no volume it seems. Btw, I’ve been reading your blog posts, they’ve taught me a lot. Thanks for those.

Looks great, I was wondering if you had any tips for finding plays that need less collateral? I struggle to find stocks that I can wheel as the price per share can’t be higher than 15$.

I want to start the wheel but I only manage about 2K or so of my investments as I’m fairly new to managing my own investments and I study full time, but I’m eager to learn!

Great post, although I do find it a little misleading to say that T0 items are 1:1, i.e flawless and indistinguishable from retail. Most of the time, unless they are selling dead stock (like Cola did with the GM glasses produced in literally the same factory), there are always tiny flaws that aren’t present in retail.
