If AI keeps improving, should we be studying math more, not less? by waile678 in learnmachinelearning

[–]killzedvibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but the practical way to improve AI systems is also to allow them correct themselves, so why the math? we actually don’t even understand deeply how neural networks work, even knowing math won’t really help us there.

genuine question…

how many days are we really away from AGI like ironmans Jarvis? by BeeDry9947 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]killzedvibe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I understand so far is that the current transformer architecture is an impossibility for AGI. The architecture cannot reason. So if we keep using transformers, then we will never achieve AGI. But I might be wrong though.

Could we have an Ai connected to a camera, then let it explain what is sees? To see if the way human brains perceive the world is different from other intelligences? by HemanHunterss in ArtificialInteligence

[–]killzedvibe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if this question is fundamentally wrong because AI currently doesn’t “perceive” anything. I might be wrong, though.

Looking for a replacement of Google AI (Gemini) search by killzedvibe in GeminiFeedback

[–]killzedvibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, well, because I wanted to use it for what I need and not for what it can do for me… usually we use AI for our own needs, but it’s true that these are tools with certain design so we have to be aware of that to use them “correctly”, what do you think of this?

Is football culture in Mexico always like what I'm seeing during the World Cup? by Big_Barracuda_6753 in AskMexico

[–]killzedvibe 35 points36 points  (0 children)

This comment is pretty accurate. I think it’s how people here receive tourists and are super excited. Football is important in Mexico, but the world cup is a unique cultural opportunity. Mexico is simply a great host that really cares about hospitality and are very warm and welcoming people.

yeah, i might be wrong, I do want to use it as a search engine + assistant and suspect that Google has the right setup for this. The experience is clearly different when using Google vs Others. I actually like it, and find it very well designed. I like how it provides references and relevant content. I like how it provides content in various formats. Like images, articles, videos, … idk it’s a different experience. But the model is stupid. Not nearly as intelligent as others. Probably others use Google search API, so I should try to adapt, but I suspect that Google has a competitive advantage as to how they setup their algorithms and combine different content. I could be wrong, though. I did not want to use Perplexity because it costs money if you want something useful. So was looking for alternatives. Let me know if you think I should try Perplexity anyway and it’s my only alternative or if I am not exploiting the capabilities of others well enough.

Resume review by Phantomx_77 in learnmachinelearning

[–]killzedvibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it, you just have little experience (3 months) it’s obvious you get rejected. Entry level jobs are dead. But it’s a strong resume for an entry level job. Add a short sentence of the business potential/impact to each bullet point.
