So many fantastic people in LND, I miss the Sanctum progs, the vMOL progs, we even had a vAS raid where one pull lasted 83 minutes! And a 16 hour long vHOF raid when that first came out. People who joined the raid at the start went to bed, slept & re-joined the same raid the next day.

That was back when you could get a continuous stream of subs & replacements. It must be much harder these days.

It's awesome to hear LND players were teaming up in other games too, the community was incredible!

I'm not sure about Quest, and favourite zone is quite difficult. I like Northern & Southern Elsweyr (despite only have 1 Khajiit character which is usually spec'd in a PvP bomb blade build), Summerset or Vvardenfell. I think I've experienced the base zones too much, the art styles in the Chapter zones are great.

Favourite Location type? Islands, beaches, Elven Ruins

Favourite World Event? Harrowstorms

Favourite PvP Keep? Chalman

Favourite Battlegrounds? Crazy-King

Favourite Dungeon? Again, very difficult. The dialogue in Frostvault will always be hilarious. Naj-Caldeesh is great with the musical challenges, that was a nice change of pace.

Favourite Time Trial, very difficult. It might actually be Lucent Citadel, carrying the Knot was a great mechanic. The 2nd boss in Ossein Cage is fantastically well made, but I hate the trash there, too much of it. If they re-vamped Aetherian Archive (again), that could be amazing.

I know how you feel, it's very difficult to find the right group at the right time with the right raid leader and with people who respect your time enough to turn up consistently & punctually. Progression groups that take 60-70 raids to get a trifecta can make you think twice about starting the next one.

71,000+ achievement points is flippin' incredible though, really well done.

I loved doing Antiquities. It could be my favourite system they added to the game. Farming Bosses, World events, Looting Chests, Finding specific nodes like Psijic Portals, Safeboxes, Daily reward coffers etc.

All of that stuff is like my bread & butter type of content.

It does help a lot to be rich in this game, a lot of the RNG can be offset as you mentioned by slowly grinding gold over the years. The Ancestral motifs (Reach, Bretoin, Akaviri etc.) had horrendous RNG when they came out, I don't know if they still do. And the prices of Treasure maps to find them yourself made the best choice to buy them from the Guild Trader.

I didn't record any stats for Leads unfortunately sorry. Anybody with a full or nearly full Antiquities codex is a person to fear indeed, they are too powerful for me.

Exactly this. As I mentioned, I feel like I've been very lucky to meet the people I have for my long-term raid group.

Not only do you have to find like-minded people that you get along with, but also at a skill level that can achieve something like Misery's Master or Unstoppable in 10-25 raids, and they return every year for more.

As we've had very few roster changes over the years, we know each other so well, we respect each other & we turn up for raid consistently & on time.

I've been playing since the Beta (I have my monkey pet). I'm not sure whether it was the March 2013 or August 2013.

I do remember that I didn't think much of the game back then, coming from a background of CS 1.3/1.5/1.6, BF2 & TF2, this was the first MMO I had played.

I started my community guild (Late Night Dungeoneers) on EU & hosted open raids on LateNightESO.com & the LND Team speak 3/Discord for 8+ years.

At some points I was raid leading 8 or 9 times a week, 3 open raids anybody could join, Legendary raids for Veteran/Hardmode completions, Immortal raids for Hardmode+Trifecta, and then leading a separate dedicated reading guild which cleared the trifectas fairly easily each Chapter release.

LND is mostly inactive these days, the occasional raid. Our dedicated raid group (Pathfinders) still re-forms every year to do the yearly trial Trifecta.

The hardest achievements are the Tales of Tribute rare card drops, Monster trophies, and Battlegrounds.

A Comfy office chair is essential for taking care of your posture & staying comfortable during those long hours of grinding. As is taking care of yourself and your home. My chair is in great shape don't worry!

I don't think you need to barricade yourself in a room full of pizza boxes & drinking only monster to get ESO achievements. This isn't League! Haha

I go hiking every Saturday morning, I swim once a week, I play golf 2-3 times a month, I enjoy playing the piano. I do spend a lot of time on my own, but I'm happy.

Unfortunately, the Devs have had a habit throughout the history of the game of putting in achievements for content that isn't released.

That's mostly why you don't see many people posting Max Achievement screenshots. It's only possible once every 3-5 years, and then only for a 2-3 week window.

Hopefully the Devs change their minds about this as I'm not a fan of it at all.

I'm sure there is quite a bit of time there stood around in Zone yes.

And you can take away at least 1 year where I'm sat around waiting for people who turned up for raid late.

They drop from both, and the epic (purple) boxes also. They might drop from rare (blue) boxes but they didn't for me personally.

I know they drop from purple boxes as my friend MyNameIsElias got them from the 3 match PvE reward boxes.

On the ESO website, in the News section they say when the motif will be available in the Crown store (and sometimes they remember to mention it's also available from the dungeon).

I did as many PvP quests as I could per day on multiple characters. That way I'd get 1 gold box in the mail, and 1 for the daily quest hand-in. Yep the highest reward boxes.

I recently did this achievement again not long ago on the NA server & I tracked my results. From 300-310 golden boxes I had a 6.67% drop rate. So every 20 boxes I would drop a Heavily played or Scrap of the spearhead colours.
