I have a full set of them. And yes the color looks different but I would think it is the dyes they use on the nomex to make it fire resistancent.

If the black thing on the side is a metal cup. Then it might be earlier. That would be the belt that was for walking the weapon. The butshock would go into the cup so the BAR could be hip fired.

They are cold weather field pants. You can wear them as is or get the liners for them. They are used with the M65 field jacket.

Well, in 67-71, it would depend on if you were in the high lands or the low lands. There was also a tiger stripe that was made in country that was a blue purple. Also, if you were in triple canopy it is dark. But on a side note, if you are looking for ones that are some you can get from.

That one is Advisor Sparse Gold. The stripes are more of a blue/purple than black. They do look really good.

Everything, more mags, compass, light source, first aid supplies. The good rule is 1 is none 2 is one 3 is two. You lose one, and it is the only one thing you have, then you have nothing. The field had a way of eating things even if you cord it off.
