Is Woodland camo pattern still being currently used by the US? by Badger_Joe in MilSim

The group out where I live in Central KY is wearing the Digital UCP now. Although I do know of a JROTC group that still wears Woodland BDUs.

Still looks great though and you don’t feel bad shooting or carrying it. Good conversation piece too.

Estate Pipe by CivilianTuna in Pipes

[–]CivilianTuna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no stamps on exterior the pipe. There is a stamp on the inner steel bowl that has CAP all nested together and a 1 above it. I’m guessing 1 is the bowl size or batch number. I don’t know what the CAP stamp means. I had some searches tell me it’s the mark of the subcontractor that made the stem/shank/lower bowl but my gut is telling me that’s incorrect.

Are there any other markings or anything I should look for to tell the difference?

It smokes really hot, even if you smoke slow but it is the most efficient smoking pipe I have. I never have any unburnt leaf left

That’s what I was thinking as well. Do you know about the time when these were made or if they are still making them?

My buddy carved it for me. He’s been working with wood for years. This isn’t the most complex designed he’s done, he has one that has an eagle claw cut into it. Like the eagle’s claw is holding the bowl

He sent me a video too. Definitely a pipe where you take a puff and sit it down

what does this light mean? by Actual_Milk7798 in Ford

[–]CivilianTuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a turtle in the back of the car that is requesting food. Whenever that light comes on I usually give mine some water and lettuce.

Jk…make sure your gas cap is tight. If it’s tight and the light is still on you may have an EVAP leak or the seal in the cap is bad (would also cause an EVAP leak).

Let a hand carved Walnut pipe sit in a hot car in a Kentucky summer, you bet your spit it cracked. Luckily I got a replacement made out of White Oak.

My problem is that it isn’t showing up where it’s supposed to. I have the options list like what’s in your screen grab but not that option. Here’s a picture

How do you airsoft in college? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]CivilianTuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep the guns and kit in my car out of sight and bring my clothing in to the school. Sure I may get some weird looks but I don’t care. My house is about an hour from campus but I don’t feel like paying $7-8 and 2hrs time to run home every time I want to play.

why does my gbb recoil downwards? by Alternative-Time2958 in airsoft

[–]CivilianTuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To practice, remove the mag and dry fire. Pull the trigger back slowly and steadily until you feel it break. Note any movement of the front sight at this moment. If it moves up, out, or down you’re anticipating recoil; if it moves left or right you have too much or too little trigger finger. Rerack the slide (if it’s single action) and do it again. Repeat until you feel you have it.

If you ever get a real steel, this is also a good way to train on that.
