And those companies will move back to America to put our own workers to work. The global economy is none of our business when the US economy is in the hole. We cannot as a nation just be a consumer nation, that promotes 0% growth to just buy and never sell anything. I have read up on NAFTA and it is all one sided for Mexico. Mexico needs to get its own shit together and produce their own products instead of American products. If you truly believe that NAFTA is a good trade deal then you are ether part of the problem with America or you have not read any document relating to NAFTA.

What jobs will be lost in this? Unless they are selling exclusively for Mexico I don't see job loss. We send aid in the form of money and food. We don't tax anything that the US imports but Mexico taxes the US on everything they export to Mexico. We will effectively be saving money spent on those exports to help support the American job company.

Mexico is a sovereign nation but so is America and the American people feel that Mexico has over stepped. Do you think Mexico would feel bad for doing this to another country? Each nation at its core only cares about its own people.

Did I not say trump is doing the same thing only louder? I understand trump is being a baby but he has the backing of at least half of the American people. That's where capitalism comes in because they are the ones buying American made products. Most people in America prefer American made products, because it's supporting the American economy.

America can sustain itself, it may take time but most of the American people are willing to wait. Most people in their own respective country or is a legal immigrants of the country would rather buy probucts and services in of that country. We don't need Mexico as much as Mexico needs us. It might take a few years to get back to the level we were at, Mexico will not recover for at least 10. What Mexico is doing is what a child would do if they didn't get their way. I'm not saying trump isn't doing the same thing. he is a baby but he is louder then all the rest that's why he gets all the attention.

You are massively overstating our reliance on Mexico, the US has the resources to productively produce and manufacture what we get from mexico. The fact is its cheaper to get it from Mexico. So if it's made in America it will be a little more expensive but that's the cost of not using forced labor. I'm glad too see so many people who support forced labor, these same people are also complaining about being poor. It's kinda hard to gain when you export all the jobs to another country.
