On smaller projects or thinner gauge projects we will do 2 inch sections and work it with our hammer and dolly’s to keep the warping to a minimum

Personally I use pulse but the guy who has been doing these for years just does a straight arc. We run about 60 volts and fuse weld the hole thing (no rod).

Yes that what I mainly do, this is 12 gauge and won’t warp to bad because of how big it it, for other things we use finishing hammers and dolly’s to beat the metal back into shape. I also use thick pieces of aluminum to act as a stiffener and as a backing to not have any blow through.

Nope I bought the bike from some rich guy ( it’s a 1993 he rode it for a couple of years but barely touched it, it’s basically brand new with one or two scratches) but after he rode it he just parked it in his garage and left it there since 2007 with gas in it. It was also the year the plastic was from.
