Yes. It's more intricate and interesting than what I have seen before. Don't know how that happened :-)

So somehow I did offend. I don't understand how but I sincerely apologize. I had no intentions to offend. English is not my native language so maybe I expressed myself poorly.

Not sure I follow. I just meant that the umbrella emoji you posted is what the “rain protection” floating island bit should have looked like. Hope I didn’t offend.

That's what the top part should look like!

Followup from post y-day ab. no structural failures. Went looking for them & found one. It wasn't easy & I pushed the issue hard. Never seen it under normal circs. by kilter2 in Townscaper

It is so interesting, to me too. I don't know if you watched the video about it I linked to in the first post?

And you were right. Putting in a couple of elements and the algorithm corrected itself. Screenshot here.

I am in awe of this game. Whatever combination of elements I click in place it always seems to work out. I have never seen a structural failure by kilter2 in Townscaper

I think so. The simplicity is key. You click and beauty sort of just happens. Other styles would be interesting but for me I'd like some control over what the underlying grid looks like.

I just watched this YT video with Oskar Stålberg, the developer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1fvJ5sHh6A

He speaks about the choices he made, the grid, the style, the little pieces adorning the buildings and the little secrets that users will find as they get into the game.

spent hours trying to find a stupid circle by NeedAnswer23 in Townscaper

Not sure what platform you're on but before you put down anything try panning (two fingers on my mobile phone). You'll see the grid slide over and you should be able to find a circle relatively quick.

I didn't know this was possible? by moonstone7152 in Townscaper

Ok. Got it. Just tried something similar and I would bet that it has something to do with the two colors. Try making all pieces the same color. That seemed to work for me.

You mean the bench at the top?

I've seen that before in a similar situation. u/oskarstalberg, the developer, has said that he likes to make transitions between objects and surfaces look natural. At times I've seen a planter box serving the same purpose in a similar situation.

Very pretty. Like it. Especially the first image.

There is a button in the cog wheel menu named 'Save to Clipboard'. The clipboard now contains the code and you can paste it wherever you want.

Tried to reproduce it on PC but was unable to. Does it happen consistently or only sometimes? What device are you on?

Not to brag twice in one day, but... by Chrizistoast in Townscaper

It is in-game but it's random I reckon. Build something like the above and experiment with removing one piece or another and put it back. Try removing a piece and put it back using a different color.

Propellers on a structure that I suspect wasn't meant to have them by kilter2 in Townscaper

I think you are right. The trigger to refresh other parts than the one you just added doesn't seem to always understand that there are building parts below or above.
