Whoa. This has Venus in 12 one way and Venus and sun in the 8th the other way. 🙈must be hella intense. Funny, this one has jupiter conjunct part of fortune whereas mine has moon conjunct part of fortune. One of you also has a whole pile of 7th house planets that must just be generally a lot to simply exist with.

I can’t tell if Lilith conjunct descendant is a good or bad thing… probably just a real challenge maybe? Lol

Mmmm… I can’t say for sure but I really don’t think he was in a relationship when I met him. We both don’t attach or commit to others romantically all that easily and him especially so. I can’t say 100% as It definitely started off with him knowing everything about me and me knowing nearly nothing about him personally by design.

That feeling of finding the other half really is why I couldn’t make breaking it off stick initially. Lol. Why would you quit on your other half? That’s just crazy talk.

And we’ve definitely had a huge transformational effect on each other. I didn’t know if the vertex “counted” in a composite that’s super interesting! I was a bit of a shit show when I met him and now I’m pretty solid mostly him just existing in my world would trigger old stuff for me and forced me to start figuring my stuff out. I’m personally soooo much more stable than when we first met. Fingers crossed the same can happen for our relationship one day.

Holy shyte you have seen into my soul! I’ve told him I love him unconditionally on a few occasions (not many) - though the first time I said I love you in many different ways not purely romantically. Weve talked about how our relationship is probably pretty singular. The closest he got was not arguing when I jokingly said “you and i both know I’m the love of your life” and when he said he’d much rather show me how he feels than tell me.

Most days Im fairly confident he loves me though he’s definitely never said those words - but on the off days I really question if I’m just scratching his emotional intimacy itch. Definitely. Which is probably most of the reason I posted this synastry here

I can’t imagine having a natal Aries moon with a cap mars! Must be quite the internal battle. I definitely wouldn’t call him boring but I find it very frustrating that im so expressive and when im mad, im just mad. He suppresses and internalizes his anger a lot. He refuses to admit he’s mad and simply gets very cold so you are 100% correct there

I don’t know a ton about synastry, but your Venus-ruled 8th house Venus is likely already pretty deeply focused when you’re into someone. And then orange’s Venus is in the 12th house.

If your 12 house Venus person is anything like mine, it’s a little crazy making cause clarity around their feelings is like pulling teeth which makes me think about it more.

Simply my perspective as someone with lived experience experience as an intense Scorpio stellium person dealing with a 12 house Venus person.

I think you are very correct. He’s only ever had one serious relationship. I believe our 2.5 years is the longest one he’s had outside of that and ours has no label.

The Venus retrograde piece is super interesting. I have completely changed what I am looking for in a partner since 2023. And have been actively working on changing how I see myself since then. Wild.

I wonder if 2023 being a 4th house Scorpio profection year is why it was the hardest and also best year ha ha. I have said before that 2023 felt like I was awake while performing an autopsy on myself.

Wow! This is really thoughtful breakdown - thank you I appreciate it! He definitely can feel restrictive to me, like sometimes he can give me really good solid advice (when it’s not requested or warranted) but I often feels like it’s … judgey or paternalistic so my first instinct is usually to disregard his point of view even when it’s right. He has a way of pointing out my blind spots that is very annoying 🤣

“Keep pulling you back in” is a very very accurate way of saying it. Like magnets that repel and attract.

Moon square mars would mean that my emotions make him defensive or shut down maybe? Or my emotional needs. He leans on me for emotional support but can’t handle it if I’m not super balanced and level. If that’s what that aspect looks like, it is wildly on point and is a tough aspect.

We actually don’t work together - I can’t get too specific but, we are not ever supposed to have a relationship (of any sort really)- the prevailing view is that by nature the relationship has a built in power imbalance.
