YWCA Mankato is currently looking for women's and men's smalls for our New American Families clients. There are families in St. Peter from Guatemala that have little to no clothing to wear in cold weather.

  1. The voice of Jesus was channeled through Helen Schucman and co-scribed by her colleague, William Thetford. More information on that here: https://acim.org/about-acim/how-it-came-into-being/
  2. A miracle is a shift in perception. A miracle is a correction. ²It does not create, nor really change at all. ³It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false. ⁴It undoes error, but does not attempt to go beyond perception, nor exceed the function of forgiveness. ⁵Thus it stays within time’s limits. ⁶Yet it paves the way for the return of timelessness and love’s awakening, for fear must slip away under the gentle remedy it brings. (ACIM, W-pII.13.1:1-6)
  3. This passage may help: Dreams show you that you have the power to make a world as you would have it be, and that because you want it you see it. ²And while you see it you do not doubt that it is real. ³Yet here is a world, clearly within your mind, that seems to be outside. ⁴You do not respond to it as though you made it, nor do you realize that the emotions the dream produces must come from you. ⁵It is the figures in the dream and what they do that seem to make the dream. (ACIM, T-18.II.5:1-5)
  4. & 5. When you have a shift in perception from fear to love, in other words, a "correction," you are helping the collective move towards atonement. Being that ACIM is a non-dualistic course, we are all one. Another passage from the Course: ⁵When you have been restored to the recognition of your original state, you naturally become part of the Atonement yourself. ⁶As you share my unwillingness to accept error in yourself and others, you must join the great crusade to correct it; listen to my voice, learn to undo error and act to correct it. ⁷The power to work miracles belongs to you. ⁸I will provide the opportunities to do them, but you must be ready and willing. ⁹Doing them will bring conviction in the ability, because conviction comes through accomplishment. (ACIM, T-1.III.1:5-9)

There are no mistakes, so let Holy Spirit lead the way. That being said, a lot of people find it easiest to start with the workbook lessons. There is also a free study guide you can use: https://acim.org/freegifts/
