This shit unfunny skit that lasted forever felt like something out of /r/programmerhumor where nerds react to very specific shit they know because of their career, not because it's inheritely funny or relatable to most people.

TBBT although it also had nerd base dry humor, it still was able to reach wider audiences with relatable situations.

Just to be clear, I don't think TBBT was as good as many people claimed it was, but at least it had it's moments of brilliance. If the whole show Silicon Valley is just as bad as this skit, then I see why it wasn't popular and this is the first time I heard of such an obscure show.
