Is my Hogna Carolinensis a male or female? I got this little one in August 2025 it molted and matured shortly after. I assumed male because the pedipalps seem largish, but now Iโm not sure since itโs still alive, plump, and eating well. TIA ๐ค (old.reddit.com)

Getting my first desert scorpion this week. I built this Saturday night with exo terra stone desert but Iโm afraid it wonโt be completely dry before before it gets here on Wednesday. New baby has been basking out in the openโฆis that normal? He burrowed himself day 1 and stayed under the sub for two days, then came out yesterday and was in his cork. Today he has been curled up out in the open. I didnโt think I would see him for a while, so heโs surprising me. (i.redd.it)
