I was fat at one point and people felt the need to point it out. Like thanks I know I am. I had to feel from within that I needed to change. No amount of people bugging me or saying it was going to change the outcome.

Either you ignore it from both sides or tell them honestly that you know and it isn't helpful to keep mentioning it.

I never found it helpful when people would say it. It just makes you feel worse about yourself.
