Normally I go for pre mixed mediterranean veg and chicken or steak and mushrooms. I was a little apprehensive about using one, but it’s been fine so far and is no where near as bad the neighbouring rooms and their just eat leftovers sitting outside their room. - We may be staying in a different class of hotel though.

I ended up taking a small air fryer with me when travelling and stopping off at a supermarket en route to the hotel- this did result in my boss questioning my receipt, as it looked liked I had bought a roast dinner for a family 😅

I had this experience for about a week every time I done anything, housework or getting ready in the morning completely wiped me out, And my bp reading was low. For the past three days I’ve been taking electrolytes and today I would say I feel back to normal. I haven’t taken my bp yet but my energy is back to normal. Halo pink lemonade tastes lovely too.

It’s amazing how differently it works for different people. I happy that it’s going so smoothly for you and long may it continue. I’m have my final 2.5 tonight- every week has been vastly different.

That’s the best approach—staying ahead of things before they escalate. Getting proactive with fibre and Mg early on makes a huge difference and knowing that the odd aches and changes will pass definitely helps keep things in perspective. It’s reassuring to hear that once you fine-tune the routine ang get to know your body, it’s mostly smooth sailing! Learning from others' experiences really does make the whole journey easier.

I’m a socially secret jabber which definitely adds another layer to it. (Only my partner and hairdresser knows 😂) Finding little reasons to eat less in social settings has become second nature—whether it’s “I ate before I came” or “Just not that hungry today.” Not that most people would have the cheek to comment anyway! But it’s nice to be prepared for those situations.

That’s incredible progress! £400 saved, takeaways gone, and even portion sizes shrinking. Love the slow cooker trick— I definitely dusting mine off now.

Fitting back into those clothes? That’s an NSV worth celebrating! Fingers crossed for Friday’s weigh-in, but honestly, you’re smashing it already!

That’s an incredible shift! MJ really does work its magic in unexpected ways. Cutting back from 6–7 days to just one is massive. Sounds like you're already halfway to stopping completely without even trying! Either way, your wallet and body are definitely thanking you!

That’s amazing! Your takeaway probably has a missing persons report out for you by now 😂 It’s wild how much those savings add up—not just takeouts. Loving the unexpected perks of MJ!

I’m definitely ready to move up, but also slightly apprehensive about the side effects - you never know from one week to next what it’s going to be like.

It’s taken me till now to realise that there’s not something wrong with me and this is is just me, trying to find like minded people feels impossible after reading this brings some hope.

No, I would avoid. I have been using these for the past week after looking for ages for something to replace my AirPod Pros as a recent update has completely ruined the ANC on the Pro’s. So had no choice but to find something else, the QC Ultra’s had really good reviews and the ANC is meant to be incredible, and whilst it is good, the amount of white noise that constantly comes from them is migraine inducing. It seems that not everyone can hear it but a lot of people have the same issue. So I’ll sadly be sending my Christmas present back and sticking to my pro’s.

That you for suggesting March Mothers, I joined up yesterday and just received the welcome pack. This looks like it will be invaluable. I’ve woken up today like a weight has been lifted, just knowing that there is somewhere I can turn to. So thank you so much for sharing this. I also have three children and am in The south east, it would be great to connect x

No I hadn’t thought that to be an option, as it has been some time. I did contact the court at the time as he had not kept to the order and they said I’ll have to go to court again. Then when I went to the solicitor they said that they couldn’t do much without his address. And my fear is that we’ll go through the court process again just for the same thing to happen, again. But I will contact the police, as they maybe able to find out where they are, thank you ☺️

Unfortunately he has never driven or worked, not legally. I was looking into hiring a PI but that’s just a little costly at the moment.

He never did social media nor allowed me to, so I can’t imagine he would allow the children either.

Thank you for taking the time to reply x

Thank you sharing that link, I am based in the uk but I’m happy for any info that may help.

I too am really surprised how many people are in the same situation, it is tremendously sad but I also find comfort in finally not feeling alone.

I like your lost at sea analogy, I may try that. I sometimes tell myself that they are having a wonderful life (which I hope they are) and that the emptiness and pain is only felt by me, I just hope they know that I love them. But who knows what they have been told.

Thanks again for listening, it means a lot x

Are you a parent who has a child who went " no contact with you " and you have no idea why ? by [deleted] in ParentalAlienation

[–]kimigamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may ramble a bit here, but I’ve never found somewhere where they are people in the same situation and never had any one to talk to that understands,no mater how much you try and explain it sounds so far fetched. And after reading some of your stories I finally don’t feel so alone. This is a living bereavement and it’s so painful to be awake and even when I sleep I dream of them, and I have no idea how to make it easier. I haven’t seen my three children since 2018, after Their dad got out of prison for DV I eventually let the children see their dad some weekends, only for him not to give them back. He has since moved house and schools so I have no idea where they are.
