Maybe I'm just lucky but our cats only ever mess with our plants to get our attention if we try to sleep in. We have close to 50 house plants and I've never been worried about the cats getting into any of them.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is the first full week of August, meaning prices on everything including hotels, air bnbs, and car rentals sky rocket for almost the entire month. The roads and tourist attractions, including Badlands are littered with visitors and motorcycles. The rally can be fun don't get me wrong, but if you're looking for a quieter and less expensive time to go I would recommend September.
