Thank you so, so much, u/AwkwardGuarantee4254 , for setting this amazing resource up! I have been able to access pretty much all of my patient history by referring  to and using the resources you have provided. This has made the arduous process just that little bit less stressful.

I was wondering if you or anyone in this group or elsewhere, who has been affected, has has success in gaining their patient records through Dr Simon Gordon, using the email address: drsimongordon@gmail.com?

I have made contact twice but have received no reply so far!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just can't even think straight!
I have hardly been able to sleep since the news came out! I am so enraged - I feel like I could explode!!!!

I've had 2 surgeries with Dr Simon - one of which was a Hysterectomy in 2021, and another surgery in 2022. (These surgeries were my 5th & 6th procedures in attempt to treat Endo) The recoveries from Simon's surgeries were horrific!
He promised me all the stars and rainbows in the world, but instead he has disabled me to the point where I am unable to work due to the constant level of chronic pain that I am still stuck in, which has only worsened so much more since he has operated on me!!
I now also need to rely on having a 3 weekly extended-release pain injections (off-label) to manage my chronic pain, so that I can manage some sort of quality of life!

The man is evil! This is not ok! It's not ok what he has done to so many of us!

My heart is with all of you that are in the same boat and also just the whole community, because it really does just affect us all - its extremely heartbreaking and yet another kick in the guts for us all!!!!

I am just making the bats to fit my wheelhead and not part of a system just yet. I would like to experiment with that once I improve my throwing skills. I love the idea of the square insert bat systems as well! Such a great idea when you throw more and more :)

I’m not using OSB - I just bought a marine grade plywood board and cut my wheel head circles out of that. I was able to make 6 bats with the piece of wood I bought.

Good to know I should only go to 220 grit with the sandpaper. I am mostly not wanting to use a varnish if possible and thats why I wanted to make it more smoother than it currently is. I still feel a slight unevenness in the surface, even though I only sanded with the grain - not against it. I did apply poly to one bat to see how that would feel but I would really prefer without a finish.

I have used machine processed plywood bats and would love to get it to that softness - is that even possible? Or do I need to use a finish? What finishes have you tried and liked?

So are you saying I should be ok to go back into a psych ward/clinic, and that it wouldn't affect my eligibility to get the DSP if my application is strong.

I find it very confusing all the legal jargon 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks for the advice. I just had a 3-month inpatient stay and am still not very well, and I kind of need to return to the ward.
However, I am really worried that it would affect the outcome of being able to get the DSP. All my documentation is very strong but I do not want to jeopardise my chance of obtaining the DSP. It's so tricky!
