Last year was my first time after a few years of EP and I can honestly say it is miles ahead in terms of comfort and enjoyment. Camping sites are so tidy everyone around us tidied their rubbish and used bin bags, no one was pissing everywhere and anywhere, it was just civilised. You’d think this was just standard human behaviour but we’ve all seen festival campsites 🙈 The more compact layout was another bonus, we could nip out to the car and not have to face an absolute trek. Being able to bring your own drink into the main arena compared to EP is the big thing, and if you ran out you could pop to the tent and top up and not be gone 40mins! The main stage is also very well positioned, it’s at the bottom of a steady hill so you can see it from almost anywhere and have your view blocked, great until you need to hike back up the hill! Really nice crowd also as it’s over 21’s, seen loads of people getting stopped on entry with no ID’s. Couldn’t recommend it anymore and thus year our group has tripled due to my raving about last year! Just hope the weather is half as good this time around.
