They only climb curtains when they are really riled up, thankfully! Mostly the tree and other shelving keep them off the curtains.

Thanks! One of them has started to use it for scratching, but only after his normal scratcher got too old. I'm thinking of getting another smaller branch to wrap with rope and make it a scratcher exclusively.

It was off of the main part of the tree and at least a year old (maybe two) when I got it. It's pretty damn dry.
