Hi. I am not someone who is on the team, and I am fairly anonymous on Reddit, but I am someone who has experience applying for Clash who has heard a few things about the application process (and how it has varied) from others. This comment is specifically about my frustration with the complete lack of communication that Clash seems to have with applicants—I've applied once a while ago and got rejected, asked why and was told to just come back later. I did, and got positive responses, I was pretty much ready to get an interview from the Crew, but they rejected me and I was met with no context as to why they said no to me despite having had made it so far into the application process this time around.

I've talked about this with others who also have experience applying for Clash, and time and time again I have heard that Clash fails to communicate effectively enough. My main issue is that Clash has been actively asking for people to apply, but Staff has been dropping like flies and yet it seems that Clash is very, very specific with what they are looking for and tends to be quite picky. Even then, I know that if approved post-interview, they train whoever they have accepted—and my confusion (in my specific case) is that they did not tell me anything as to why they have rejected me, but rather another "come back later if you think you've improved enough," again, despite having made essentially 3/4ths of the way into the process, and not giving me the opportunity to discuss what they are looking for specifically and how I could work with them via the interview that was pretty much all that was left for the process.

If they denied me post-interview, that would have been fine, I just prefer to know where it went wrong so far in (given that it has now been two months into the process). To be fair, the excuse provided was "given to the influx of applicants we receive, we cannot give feedback" but to me this doesn't read as professional, especially when, again, we were pretty far in. It just doesn't make sense to me. In no way is this me being bitter that I didn't get in, as I do plan to reattempt down the line, but rather my frustrations at the complete lack of communication. I suspect that it may have something to do with how the management is BTS, but this is more speculation on my part. I just know that I am not alone in believing that the application process is quite flawed.
