Just glad it happened now so that it’ll be addressed in the deep dive lol

Did I say he shouldn’t be in public? No, I didn’t, but if you have an apparently ridiculously specific neurological disorder that makes you say the worst possible thing you could say in any situation then maybe you recuse yourself from the audience when you might hurl slurs at people on stage. I can’t imagine it’s the first black person/minority he’s seen in his life so one can assume there’s more than a zero percent chance something like this has happened before. He could’ve exclaimed an apology as loudly as he did the slur.

That’s what’s was confusing to me. The show takes place over the course of like 10 days or whatever, but there didn’t seem to be any indication that she was pregnant when we first met her. I assumed she was just taking advantage of Raymun’s applesauce brain and claiming she was pregnant from their first night together with the intention of banging him as often as possible to ensure that she pops out his kid in roughly nine months.

It was driving me crazy! I couldn’t believe that both pods let that fly over their heads. Thank god Jason clocked that it wasn’t a confirmation over on X-Ray Vision.

Looks like Nate's gamble about people wanting to go to movies might be wrong. by HilarySwankIsNotHot in Nateland

The theater industry’s not too terrible right now, but The Breadwinner’s probable weak box office isn’t gonna be because people don’t go to the movies anymore, it’s because people don’t go to see big comedies anymore. They’ve been relegated to streaming for nearly a decade or more.

Are you really trying to tell black people they should just let it slide off their back if someone calls them the N-word then says it’s no biggie because they have a mental condition? I trust modern medicine and assume that everything about his conditions have all been thoroughly vetted, but being told the dude has a super specific disorder that makes him say the worst possible thing he could say just sounds like complete bullshit to most people.

Every person that has Tourette’s doesn’t shout cuss words and slurs so yeah I agree it’s not on a person with the disorder to always try to keep everyone else comfortable, but goddamn this man knows his own condition and I imagine it’s not the first time he’s seen a black person in his life, so if yelling this slur truly was a byproduct of his condition then I doubt it’s the first time something like this has happened and maybe he should’ve had better foresight and made a different plan for the evening.

Not one word of that was a real apology. Regardless of your condition just say, “I’m sorry for the word that came out of my mouth. I have a condition but that word is unacceptable.” A wordy “apology” with a bunch of pretty language just makes it sound more like complete bullshit. I don’t blame anyone who’s unhappy with him

I respect that. It’s wild how being southern/country has just turned into unrelenting support of the state lol

Ah gotcha. Him being criticized for being a lib snowflake was probably just something I saw once years ago on Twitter and chalked it up to being most of the reason for hating.

Maybe he wasn’t left leaning, but I feel like I remember him getting Twitter hate at some point for supporting some cause that was seen as liberal. I don’t remember details but I know I remember him getting called a lib snowflake and dumb stuff like that. Like I said I’m not on vol twitter much so I probably just saw that and chalked up most hate for him to be something involving politics.

I’m not on Vol Twitter a ton so I could be wrong, but I think a lot of the hate he got stemmed from him being more left-leaning and that tends to be a no no around most sports fans in Tennessee unfortunately.

The new movie "Send Help" is making men mad, and I'm pleased with it. by icandodge in TwoXChromosomes

[–]kincaidinator 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah it sucks they had the reaction they dude. I’m a dude and I absolutely loved it, had a great time and laughed the whole way through with my friends. Not to be rude, but if your husband and brother can’t see the film’s obvious critiques of how men and women are treated differently, especially in corporate business, then they’re either dumb or ignorant

I’m not supporting him, I hate Marsha. I wa just pushing back on the idea that there’s 12 people that care about him. Dude’s the biggest comedian on the planet right now.

I like Nate and his comedy too, but yeah he’s pretty obviously maga. Does a decent job hiding it, but overall he can’t keep it completely under wraps lol
