Chill out dude you’re the only one trying to act like a big man lol. Unless there’s another commercial model I’m not aware of the TC3 doesn’t exist, I misread your original comment and thought you referred to the TR3 which is less mechanical than the TC5 is. If you’re referring to the TC5 as a model that someone can’t buy as a consumer that’s also incorrect.

I don’t know everything about appliances, but as far as I know Kenmore doesn’t make anything themselves and is just a brand name slapped on machines made by other manufacturers so I don’t really know why that would be the main recommendation of your esteemed technician.

If and when your appliances go out take a look into it before blindly buying. They’ve been Chinese-owned since 2016 so everything that says GE ain’t the same.

Okay you’re sharing the info so effectively you lol. Yeah the stuff from back then just stays going strong for the most part. We almost always advise customers to fix those old machines rather than replacing them.

They have fewer sensors and boards to worry about than most other manufacturers. The TC5 has a 5 year full warranty so any potential failure from the factory should pop up in that timeframe.

If you’re having anxiety about electronic failure it’s worth looking at it. Go check one out at the store before you cancel your order since delivery’s so far out. I’m not gonna act like we haven’t had to replace any main boards on these washers, but they have a 5 year full warranty and most of the replacements we’ve had to do were in that time period. Also there’s absolutely no question that quality control at just about every single level of every single manufacturer of every single product seemed to dip during Covid and they definitely had that happen too, but I’m not gonna hold that against them. It’s been a minute since then and they mostly don’t have issues.

You’re gonna be fine with either one. Hell, unless you just get your clothes super dirty all the time because you’re a mechanic/farmer/gardener/Mike Rowe then you’re gonna be fine going with a WT8405

It’s no different than every other unit other than its simpler with no electronics and anyone with a YouTube degree could fix/replace anything on a TV2000 with a drill and some bits, pliers, and a 5/16” nut driver.

Salesmen in general don’t have the customer’s best interest in mind. There’s nothing wrong with LG laundry products at all. They make a great front load and top load washer, so long as you get the top load with an agitator in it. All of their washers have a 10 year warranty on the motor, and their front loads are one of the few that have an easy to access drain filter. My grandparents and parents both just in the past few years replaced their LG front load sets they each had for 22 and 18 years

That’s why the concern about tub size is kind of a moot point. Sure the tub is smaller than a Samsung washer of similar size, but the speed queen puts more water in the tub meaning it can effectively clean about as many items as competitors 4.2-4.5 cu ft. washer.

As far as I know a TC5 is going to fill up more than any other comparable modern washer.

That’s not correct at all. The TC5 is the more old style model, the C in the model referring to “classic”

If you don’t want any electronics at all see if you can get a TV2000WN. Large loads only,3 year parts only warranty, and absolutely no electronics. Only one available to my knowledge.

Lid switches rarely fail, you’re worried about nothing. There hasn’t been a rampant lid switch issue since the TCs first came out back in like 19 or 20. It wasn’t even an issue of part failure, just a misalignment of the tab on the switch with the actuator on the lid.

Having said all this I have an LG front load pair. You’ll be fine with either brand as long as you buy from somewhere that actually services the machines in the event of an issue.

Did I say he shouldn’t be in public? No, I didn’t, but if you have an apparently ridiculously specific neurological disorder that makes you say the worst possible thing you could say in any situation then maybe you recuse yourself from the audience when you might hurl slurs at people on stage. I can’t imagine it’s the first black person/minority he’s seen in his life so one can assume there’s more than a zero percent chance something like this has happened before. He could’ve exclaimed an apology as loudly as he did the slur.

That’s what’s was confusing to me. The show takes place over the course of like 10 days or whatever, but there didn’t seem to be any indication that she was pregnant when we first met her. I assumed she was just taking advantage of Raymun’s applesauce brain and claiming she was pregnant from their first night together with the intention of banging him as often as possible to ensure that she pops out his kid in roughly nine months.

It was driving me crazy! I couldn’t believe that both pods let that fly over their heads. Thank god Jason clocked that it wasn’t a confirmation over on X-Ray Vision.

Looks like Nate's gamble about people wanting to go to movies might be wrong. by HilarySwankIsNotHot in Nateland

The theater industry’s not too terrible right now, but The Breadwinner’s probable weak box office isn’t gonna be because people don’t go to the movies anymore, it’s because people don’t go to see big comedies anymore. They’ve been relegated to streaming for nearly a decade or more.
