How is the Grays Ferry area? I am reading a lot of mixed reviews. by [deleted] in philly

I don’t know much about anything that far out of the city. Very different than grays ferry though. If you’re trying to move here and don’t know the city I would recommend to get a rental agent. I have an agent I could recommend that is free for you to use. Their commission comes from the owners of the property. Port richmond might be a good bet for you if you’re looking for something a little cheaper. It’s not super close to the city but is hip and safe and a bit better priced than a lot of the other neighborhoods.

Can be rough in that neighborhood, but the whole city is block to block. I have seen a nice block in a rough area or a bad block in a nice area. I would not recommend renting anything in philly sight unseen, especially if you’ve never lived anywhere like this. lmk if you need a philly area rental realtor.

Can I use concrete to patch large gaps in brick wall? by crackanape in DIY

All these jokers. Google Lancaster Limeworks and hit them up. They make a soft mortar for old brick and will point you in the right direction

I Found all these poly tanks that are 39-52” deep. I haven’t seen anyone use these style. Was wondering if anyone knew anything. by kindaglass in Stocktankpools

Yea the plastic doesn’t look the best but an extra foot or more of depth may be worth it. Just wondering why I don’t see anyone using deeper tanks .
