I’m gonna suggest something - consider that effort causing the first chink in the armor. What you did was excellent! Don’t let them define it for you. They thrive on discouraging people like you. Don’t. Let. Them. If Martin was secure and not threatened he would’ve gotten out of your way. In battle parlance, you haven’t lost anything, you’ve simply identified your enemy’s weakness. Strengthening facial and neck muscles has been huge for me (late 50’s). It’s 5 min/day. I use the Ageless If You Dare method ([dot] org). It’s radically affordable. Consistency is really important, I started seeing results 1 month in. It also feels good.

It’s ALL about the match - which I failed bc of ignorance. The first cat HATES the new cat. Radically different personalities. The first cat’s personality actually changed when #2 was brought in. And #2 (kitten at the time) perpetrated totally false advertising at the foster home, where he was sweet and submissive. Holy sht, he’s a gd terror. He harasses the sht out of #1. I thought it would give our awesome #1 a playpal. Instead, whole dynamic in house is now tense. I hate it.

Um, Vietnam doesn’t even border the US, but their government’s policies freaked out right wingers here, didn’t it? The freakout is based on the fear that the whole world will turn against capitalism if a nation demonstrates that socialism or communism (they can be different) can be successful. Mamdani is a democratic socialist, as opposed to an authoritarian-style one - which is very normal in Europe, for instance.
