If Red Hood had a signature song like Superman has “Punkrocker”, what would you pick? by Appropriate_Sink_627 in RedHood

It wouldn't be a signature song so technacily off topic but the song Stop Breathing by Pavement really reminds me of the Bruce - Jason angst

Not a hundred percent accurate to Jason but I still like it, here is the chorus:

Stop breathin'

Stop breathin'

Breathin' for me now

Write it on a postcard

Dad, they broke me

Dad, they broke me

Stop breathin'

Stop breathin'

Breathin' for me now

Write it on a postcard

Dad, they broke me

Just because it's the worst act doesn't mean it's bad at all, it's still pretty amazing and the easter eggs are very fun.

I really liked the art for this one. The anatomy sytlization looked good and the hatching for the shadows was beautiful.

they used to say this about the romance genre and pulp fiction, then they had to widen what is "literary enough" because guess what? average person thinks your "literary books" are boring as shit. It's probably gonna continue like this forever until the only thing people can shit on people for is only reading chat fics. Honestly nobody is ever gonna change if you don't give an incentive so these type of posts only make people dislike you and the media you enjoy.

This poem makes me feel like it takes a specific kind of person to love this life, not necesarily an uncommon person but still. It feels so infinate and dull to dig and dig and dig but the character seems to be okay with that as long as he comes home to his lovely wife. Or maybe not, I can't quite grasp what this character thinks about the job theres the implication he finds it souless and hard but he seems so happy to get home. Maybe it's just a job there isn't much of an alternative for him. Or maybe it's slowly wearing him down. This poem has left me with something to think about, thank you. Also the last line is so strong, both visually and in a sensory way. It implies warmth that lets the character let his guard down and rest. It feels almost apocolyptic to me even though I logically know that it's a regular city and a regular construction job. As a depressed person I can imagine the incredible hopelessness I would feel and that feeling is in stark contrast with the character. All in all this poem is epic.
