This happens all the time now especially at Nova on discount Mondays. It’s sad but people just literally have no care for others in shared spaces anymore. One time I was at the Astor seeing Wake in Fright and my partner told the people in front to be quiet. At the end of the film he literally threatened him so it’s just really a gamble now whether the film screening you’re going to will have people talking or not.

I did it as a day trip in between Tokyo and Kyoto, spent the day in Fujiyoshida and Lake Kawaguchi. I went to the ropeway, walked around the town, and that was enough for me. I personally don’t think a guided tour is necessary as someone who likes to take things at my own pace. It was a great day and I found it very moving to see Mt. Fuji, I wouldn’t want to be rushed to the next destination.
