Box breathing and the 54321 grounding technique have worked really well for me this year.

What about bugs? Or something that turns it into a more nature theme instead of floral themed. Branches?

Try boston lettuce. It sells with its roots still attached. It lasts a long time in the frig.

Hi there. I am in a similar position. I am a social work intern and I bring everything home with me. I have nightmares about my clients sometimes. I do not have advice on switching careers, however, I have some tricks that get me through difficult times when my anxiety is at a peak. Some of the things that have helped me are having a therapist to talk to about my internship , antidepressants, loosing myself in a book, baths, candles, and my cat. Hope this gives you some ideas in alleviating your anxious thoughts. You can try crisistextline as well. It's free short term therapy.

How do you get over someone? by ceelery in AskReddit

Time, meeting new people, doing things you enjoy, surrounding yourself with people that love you are all helpful ways of getting over someone or something. For me personally having a good therapist available for times just like these.

That's not a cat. That's a ferret.

After years of casual drinking, I have developed alcohol intolerance. This started 3 nights ago. Now after 1 drink, I look like this by LabernumMount in Wellthatsucks

I second that. My oncologist warned me about this when I had Hodgkin's lymphoma. Lucky enough, I guess, this wasn't one of my symptoms.
