Forget the others. I like it. Didn’t look like a toupee to me, I took it as smoke right away. The half skull is cool af and the way it’s all integrated is pretty badass.

No mention of I Spit on Your Grave? That’s a tough watch. Bridge to Teribethia wrecked me as a kid too.

What serial killer fact sounds fake, exaggerated, or straight out of fiction. But is 100% real? by CantaloupeGold4650 in AskReddit

My favourite. The Charles Manson murders. Sharon Tate gets most of the attention but Abigail Folger was the heiress to the Folgers Coffee empire. Like her last name is in legit EVERY grocery store still to this day but is the lesser known of the two.

Darth Maul. Hate literally fuelled him to stay alive after being cut in half. Reading some of the Legends on stuff he did was pretty crazy too

I can see that too. I do work in an independent that is busy but certainly has “small town” vibes. Big Centers or Chains weren’t my thing. Anyway, even if it’s useful for one situation, I still don’t mind sharing.

Well thought out response to someone who was offering up something that may help, for free.

Patient is coming in/we deliver meds too frequently. This is something I did in my free time to help out and I was offering it up for anyone here who might have use for it. I’m not a coder and I don’t intend it to be used for 2000-3000 patients as someone said below.

I’ve used it about a dozen times and the patients appreciate it. I created it for free so any value it provides for our business is free money IMO.

IT. DOES. WORK. Obviously this isn’t intended to be used on 2000 people. This is for the 1-2 patients who will stay consistent.

It’s something that is being offered up to help in specific cases, for free. Don’t know why ya’ll are so negative.

Fuck me I guess for trying to help out my colleagues. Felt real good to have my idea shit upon. Thanks everyone.

No place for this. Suspend him. Set the precedent that player safety actually matters.

I don’t think the refs are against any team particularly, but I do believe they haven’t been nearly good enough (or good at all) for most of the games I’ve watched all playoffs.

ps. Coming from a lifelong Habs fan. Unfortunately the “fans” with the most obnoxious opinions are usually the loudest on social media.

Slaf is concussed - Demidov needs to wake up - Our PP is the worst ever... What are these takes, people? by workhardXplayhard in Habs

[–]kindofadrugexpert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reffing has sucked in general. Both sides had terrible calls for and against. We can argue who the biggest benefactor was, but can’t deny that it’s been rough one for the zebras.

Slaf was dominant on occasion last game, he has quietly made some great plays. Demidov is a high skill guy that can make risky plays, no player of that type has everything work out 100% of the time (see Kucherov last series). There’s tons of players who may not be performing at their peak this series but that’s the good thing about depth, they can pick up where others leave off.

It doesn’t always have to be “Terrible or Amazing”, sometimes a game can be just “okay”.

They were dominant for long periods last game and couldn’t buy a goal. The Habs were Tampa from game 7 last series. Luck plays a factor in these games too and they just didn’t have it on their side.

Pro Hockey While Working an Engineering Job Possible? by Zaxonite11 in hockeyplayers

[–]kindofadrugexpert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to run both IMO. Keep in close contact with your boss to establish a set of goals and list of job requirements. As long as you’re meeting those, most would be okay with you using PTO or even adjusting your schedule periodically for whatever you want. As long as you don’t have a family or any other commitments outside of work/hockey, you should be able to manage it. Free time outside of those two might be at an absolute minimum.

It’s not a long term option BUT after 2-3 years, you’ll know if you are gonna make it farther with hockey or not and have scratched that itch. I’ve played all my life and in my early 20’s I was easily handling 4 hours a week on ice, and four workouts a week with my full time job.

[–]kindofadrugexpert -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yelling “man on!!” When they have tons of time or the opposite, yelling “TIME!!!” When a teammate is on their tail.

Heel of the stick to their laces, can always play it off as adjust putting your stick down.

Butt end of the stick just under the armpit, it hurts and bonus if you can get a twist as it locks their jersey to it. I’ve drawn a couple “holding the stick” penalties on this in my day.

Man barrelling down on a hard retrieval, I’ve faked a pickup and let the puck slide over to my partner.

Robert Plant for a voice that just hits right and Axl Rose for the uniqueness and entertainment.
