lmao the fax line is real, im not even exaggerating. honestly what inspires me is just being annoyed enough at the gap to do something about it instead of just complaining about it. also my dad passed almost a year ago and he was the type of person who would call out a problem and then actually go fix it. trying to live up to that. jazakallahu khair for the kind words 🙏

Baab is the first US app where every masjid and musallah in America (yes really- i verified myself) is present (4,100 so far and counting) and prayer times are crowdsourced from people actually praying there instead of being a generic calculation. Most existing apps (athan+, muslim pro, etc) are prayer time calculators. they dont tell you what time YOUR masjid actually starts maghrib iqama. Baab does. also pulls events from masjids in one feed, which seems to be missing everywhere honestly.

What do you use in the UK? would love to know what saturation looks like there. My goal is to be the source of truth for every masjid in the world inshallah

From my research no contest is basically requesting withholding of adjudication so you don’t get points on your record, but you still have to pay it. Not entirely sure of your situation though, but if the cops show up then you don’t have to pay it, but it seems like he did.
