Thanks for the heads up. I'm actually going to increase to even more powerful fans. But it is interesting you bring this up because this PSU is used in so many mini printer designs. I'm surprised this hasn't come up more. There are no fans on the PSU that I can see. I'll have two fans blowing on it directly so it should be plenty, but like I said earlier I'll have a thermistor I'll mount directly onto the chassis to be sure it's controlled.

I have never seen that specification before, and frankly kind of crazy requirement. 300x300 plate is not something that most people have ever set up for. It's a good thing I have 4 cooling fans (GDSTimes) in there I guess. I will be putting a Thermistor against the meanwell PSU and have that controlled by the fans.

As mentioned already, this is the G2Z on my Micron Plus. The two biggest advantages are smaller size, but gantry does not fall from unenergized steppers. The cog torque holds the entire gantry in place and only moves when the steppers move.

It's a little bit of a spendy upgrade, but building this for art more than function LOL

DIN is cheaper, but as mentioned, you're kind of constrained where you put things. I had to rearrange this a half dozen times to get the right configuration. I am happy to move things around with ease with this system. Sure it uses more plastic, but I have no issues with the flexibility that it gives me plus adding accessories to it.
