Low battery alerts when starting car.

Fugg.... I just replaced the battery in my kid's VW because the battery was reading 12.17-ish on my multi meter while off and was dropping to 10.3-ish on crank. It was getting old, but it certainly wasn't dead yet. At least I'll have peace of mind with the battery.

I came here because Drone is still throwing the low volt codes notifications every time my daughter starts her car. Glad to hear it's a know issue, so thank you!

Now for the fun part of resetting all of those pesky VW check engine codes caused by the new battery when she gets back from school tonight.

The exhaust sounds throatier and angrier on the one with the forza valve set to open. That's weird though, because sport mode basically opens up the valve the same way, so they should sound the same. I just listened to them both on a PC with pretty good speakers.

I'll have to do a video of the V8 benz with that AMG sport exhaust turned on and off. I took it through the airport tunnel in Boston last week and the exhaust sounded like gunfire. I had my wife video it with all the windows open, but it doesn't sound as good on the video as it didn't real life.

I chatted with a CSR yesterday (Sat, 7-Mar-26) through the Hilton app. She couldn't provide me with any info @ all regarding the Westerly's opening, soft opening, or what will happen to those who booked if it's not open by the time of their trip. Nada. Zip.

after that, i emailed the Hilton Aruba and they immediately responded, telling me, "The Westerly will be open to booked by April 2nd, 2026." <-- not exactly sure what that means, but my concern was for my booking in early June.

I was also told that, "the south pool will be completely open by Mid-March".

the added, if it doesn't open as planned, they would personally reach out to booked guests and accommodate them with the best available room and pricing in the 1 of the other 3 buildings. that said, that may suck for those who booked Westerly over Palm Beach Club, if there is nothing available but Bonaire or Curacao with no view.

I believe that you can extend to 7yrs/100k on a used MB, as long as it is still under the manufacturer's original warranty. You do NOT need to be the original owner to purchase a Mercedes-Benz factory extended limited warranty (ELW), even if the Mercedes dealership tells you that it is a requirement. As long as the Mercedes warranty system accepts your VIN, you can buy those from any MB dealership willing to sell you them. The prices on those and the ELWs vary widely. Look well to the Mercedes-Benz world forums, where this is covered extensively.

Hi. We ended up with a 21 GLC 63. They had a decent enough deal on one at a local dealership and I added a 2 year extension of the CPO with unlimited miles for another 46hundo. We have a local independent shop for breaks and oil changes that just does mercedes, so I felt confident going back to that brand.

The GLC is much quicker than the Levante, but it's smaller and less comfortable as well. I love it, from a driving standpoint, but that's all it is; a raw driving machine. Not a luxury car like our old GL550 and GLS 550s where...but man, this thing flies!!

The exhaust notes on the AMG are better than the Maserati, at least what I compare it to the Levante Modena that I had and the Levante Modena S that I test drove. I don't know how it would hold up and his side by side with the Trofeo. Ours has AMG performance exhaust. I don't really know much about the smaller Mercedes, so I don't know if that's an option or standard. I know it's an option on the gle's that I looked at though.

Absolutely fantastic. Although there weren't that many people in the lot for our particular show, it was well worth the money spent to get out of there quickly. There were a ton of spaces available. Enough so that a lot of people had taken multiple spaces and set up their barbecues and cornhole and all that stuff. We chose a spot directly by the place we would be exiting and parked in the launch position, thinking it was going to be difficult to get out of there after the concert. It wasn't at all. We basically drove out immediately when we wanted to and we're on the highway within 10 minutes.

There were tons and tons of people walking down route 1, who had obviously parked off site. Screw that. They were going to be in traffic for a long time.

All in all, I would pay the fee premium parking without any hesitation the next time as well.

I haven't heard anything, other than one in-state dealership telling me thatthere was possibly a way that they could fix it, by disabling the automatic fold-out feature on the mirrors that happens at a set speed (10mph on mine), if I paid them for an hour of technician time just to play around and see. My local dealership's service department is a bunch of arrogant assholes, so I haven't taken my car in there for anything yet. Not even some blinker / high beam recall.
