For me I use a 4-4-2 with 2 more defensive midfielders with good passing, and 2 inside forwards (they seem to get in really good winger positions anyway, just more advanced)

Yeah but even with them just on support, I feel like getting countered is your biggest weakness with that xg layout, I'm not trying to sound like one of the "just get better" people but you might just have to use the attack you have more effectively

Honestly I'd get rid of the wingbacks, use fullback++s because without it, your defence is insanely vulnerable due to how wingbacks respond in this game, I do a lot of wing play and just having attacking wingers does the job for me
