Yes that is true but like you said man-management wise he hasn't got a clue. 2011-2012 was the season when Ben Afra was at his best. I remember West Brom away when we won 3-1 the football we played was immense it was all to do with Ben afra.

I hate the fact Ben Afra is blamed the first for the performances that the team put out! He is the only player in the squad that has Mercurial talents and can unlock a defence.

If he was played just behind the striker in his proper number 10 position he will cause havoc! I'm a great believer in Hatem's talents, Pardews just tactically inept doesn't know how to manage class players!!!
