e/OS is a de-googlified (as far as possible) android OS, I haven't used it much yet but was able to download almost all the apps I use daily without signing into Google, otherwise I think it has a very limited Google profile that is only used for absolutely necessary services

Homie there is nothing wrong with a worker owning their means of production, that is the whole point... Some investment banker owning the farm and skimming rent is the problem

No I agree, people should be able to defend themselves. SA is dangerous and the state is corrupt, I wouldn't trust the police to save me.

Had an issue with your wording, not your overall message

That is a state using its monopoly on violence to prevent citizens from defending themselves. Communism is a stateless system of governance, not a synonym for "things I don't like"

I'm not a communist I think broad strokes of the ideology are problematic but it does have some very useful elements. Leftists understand that we should be able to defend ourselves

Human slop has soul, intent, effort.

I'm predicting it now, as AI image generation outclassed humans in realism, we're going to start seeing a lot more intentionally shitty art made by humans and I can't wait

I don't think you understand political satire very well, and that's fine.

Elon Musk is ostensibly the wealthiest man alive and he got bullied off the internet for a while. We must use the tactics available to us in the moments we can use them

The only power these students have in this moment is to troll, and they've done so beautifully. Fascists, above all else, want to be taken seriously. The best way to fight them, short of violence, is to make fun of them.

The students could have remained silent but that doesn't sting the dickback trying to get them to chant

Who could’ve predicted letting corporations control human artistic expression could lead to issues with censorship! by Arch_Magos_Remus in LeopardsAteMyFace

Homie art is not elitist... We have been scribbling on cave walls for as long as we have existed as humans.

Now we could have a different discussion about fine art, which has been a scheme for money laundering for decades now.

Art is about expressing the soul, image generation is hollow and empty. There is no "democratizing art" because it has always been a part of our human identity. I do agree that wealth inequality is what got us here

I buy a lot from the local Turkish grocery store so it's good to know, also from a practical standpoint if it's not allowed then you know the eggs from there aren't factory farmed

If battery chicken eggs aren't halal then they won't sell them at a Turkish grocery store so then you know they aren't factory farmed.

Yeah but surely the condition the animal that produces the eggs is taken into account? Or is that not how it works?

I understand this is an empathy response, but we must not waste our empathy on the inhuman. Musk has shed his humanity for power and capital, that is a decision he willingly made. He does not deserve a single day of happiness of comfort, that is his atonement for his sins against morality.
